See Singapore

Posted on: April 8, 2015

one of my most loved countries in Asia – Singapore. This city has advanced greatly considering its many difficulties in the past. Despite not having much natural resources to begin with, Singapore fought for sustainability and is now benefitting from that act. athing that can be gleaned from this is — whether one starts with plenty or naught, if there’s a will then there’s a way. God bless Singapore!

Live Colorfully

if you’re a fan of Kate Spade, this phrase is probably not new to you. this thought welcomed the new year with me. i took every bit of it as a challenge as well as mind candy. i’m a very careful person that’s why most (if not all) of my actions and decisions are calculated. too calculated at times that i think i’m more of a robot than a human being. haha! so for 2015, i’m fighting for fun and craving for lots of color in my life. Good thing, anything out of my usual routine can be considered as such. I guess those days that were planned to a T set the bar really low for this new journey of mine.

Fish Tales

it started with 2 swordtail ‘fishies’, an aquatic plant and a fishbowl and it has now grew to this, a legit tank. been ‘aquascaping’ this tank for the ‘fishies’ for 3 days now and it’s now filled with water and currently houses 3 ‘shrimpies’ (shrimps) and Oto I (an otocinclus). Yay! Crossing my fingers that they all live 100 years and more, haha!

totally fan-girling on Louisa Wendorff.  her cover of Blank Space + Style is a hit, and it’s not a mystery why.

Complete Peace

Posted on: December 22, 2014

this photo was taken in Ilo-Ilo, at a school who still had students who gathered to listen to someone playing guitar on the field, watched their juniors and seniors play football, cliques grouped in a circle to talk about how their day went. zero gadgets, zero selfies just simple old-school bustle and yet there was complete peace.

it doesn’t have to be perfect

there was a time when the 4s’ cam was more than enough to capture charming moments and not make you want to throw it to a wall because it was crazy blurry and pathetically grainy. those were the days. I guess the world is drowning its inhabitants in discontent while masking it as life improvement. Or maybe my tea tonight was just bitter and I am writing this with a very fault-finding spirit. haha! anyway.. digressing, (haha!) CommerCenter’s newly opened cinemas are this year’s “unexpected-claiming-it-as-ours” Christmas gift. It’s so convenient to go there and it can still be considered as Alabang’s secret date spot (for the next few weeks i suppose) . Seats are new and spacious, perfect for my legs, haha! Movies are sharply projected and the sound quality is terrific. They have Tater’s too! I can’t help but rave about this place cause of course, customer’s keep ’em open. so please, come try it out. Check the movie schedules via ClicktheCity. Happy watching!
